When you have several Woodpecker fields in a template, you may find it difficult to locate the field you want to edit. With our field search feature, it is easy to find the field you are looking for. Using this feature is simple and intuitive, as demonstrated in the below steps.

  1. Click on the magnifying glass icon at the top of the main application header to enter "Search Mode", and a search box will appear. Please note, this icon is only available if you have at least two fields created.

  2. In the search box, type in the text you wish to search (the search is not case sensitive).

  3. Click on the blue magnifying glass icon adjacent to search box to initiate the search. All fields that do not contain the search text (again, not case sensitive) will be temporarily removed from your view.

  4. In "Search Mode", you could update your field, just like you would from the normal view. The only feature disabled while searching is the ability to reorder fields.

  5. At any time, click on the gray "X" adjacent to the search box to exit "Search Mode" and return to your normal view.
